Introduction

At SDG Athletics we believe a 1:1 approach with a strength coach that understands individual body movement and capability, will produce the transformation you’re looking for.

 

If you want to move, feel, and look like an athlete, you need to train like an athlete. This shouldn’t take years of “work-outs”, but it won’t be accomplished in a single day or watching the “experts” on social media.

We will help you achieve your goals, whether increasing strength, flexibility, agility, endurance, or creating a healthy, sustainable lifestyle that increases longevity.

Schedule

We will train 2x a week for 45 – 50 minutes as well as 1 Group Dynamic Strength class a week.

Methodology

Our approach is to provide encouragement & motivation with immediate feedback and guidance on proper exercise forms to prevent injuries, with continuous assessment of progress and adjustments to ensure optimal results.

Meet your Trainer!

Matt Galloro, the founder of SDG Athletics, a brand that is dedicated to helping one’s pursuit of excellence in all areas, Mind, Body, & Spirit (Arete), is a renowned strength coach, who started his fitness journey on the sands of Manhattan Beach. He holds certifications in strength, conditioning, and nutrition.

 

He is the owner and lead trainer at SDG Athletics & is a competitive Spartan Endurance Athlete with multiple podium achievements (retired). He has also coached volleyball & golf, equipping multiple athletes for future collegiate, Professional, and Olympic careers.

  • What should I wear to training sessions?
    Be prepared to move and sweat. Many of our clients prefer to use gloves.
  • What should I eat beforehand? 
    We will address this based on your preferred training time, but a rule of thumb is to not eat 1 hour before a training session.
  • What if I need to cancel a session? 
    We need 24-hour notice and will reschedule a session in the same week to keep you on track.
  • What Does a Typical Class Look Like?
    We begin each class with a warm-up set, move on to the main training session, and end with a varied finisher set. We highly encourage questions throughout the class. This is a class to help you become your best version.
